8th Wins 4th Game In A Row

Last night, the 8th grade Dogs traveled to Tri West. The Dogs came out slow, trailing 8-7 after the 1st quarter. After they settled in and increased the defensive pressure, they were able to get some steals and easy buckets. At halftime, the Dogs led 31 to 14, but the Bruins did not give up. After Tri West cut the lead to 11, the Dogs were able to finish the game strong with a 51 to 38 victory. Once again, it was the defense that led the way for the Dogs. Offensively, 8 different players scored, but Robert Jackson led the way with 16 points. Tamareon Tucker chipped in 9 points and Bishop Bambo had 8 points. The Dogs are now on a 4 game winning streak and look to carry the momentum to Wednesday when the host Speedway at home.
